Teacher Cloud, Yoga and Meditation

Teacher Cloud Chan-Moosa is the founder of CloudC Yoga Education, which grew out of Sense Studio Yoga, her original yoga studio and online platform (2015–2023), and became CloudC Yoga Education in 2024. Since 2015, Cloud has clocked up over a thousand teaching hours, and now teaches in both Hong Kong and London, with structured online yoga courses available through CloudC Yoga Education.

Cloud's Teaching Methodology

Cloud's teaching is built on years of systematic study. She has completed over a thousand hours of yoga training, covering traditional Hatha yoga, therapeutic yoga, pregnancy yoga, postnatal yoga, pranayama and meditation, and yoga nidra.

Beyond this training, Cloud has spent years studying classical texts such as the Yoga Sutras and Hatha yoga scriptures in depth, alongside extensive reading across other disciplines. She works to translate this ancient wisdom into practices modern students can genuinely understand and apply. Yoga, built on the foundation of asana, is a complete philosophy of body and mind. This is why her teaching helps students progress physically, building strength and easing pain, while also guiding them, step by step, to understand the reasoning behind their practice, so they can care for their own body and mind.

Cloud's teaching keeps deepening alongside this ongoing study. As she takes in new knowledge, new research, and insights gathered from working directly with her students, she regularly reviews and updates how CloudC Yoga Education teaches, keeping her teaching in step with the latest developments in the field.

This attention to system and structure also reflects her background: a bachelor's degree in business. It shows in how she designs her courses step by step, and in how she breaks down complex yoga philosophy into teaching that beginners can follow with ease.

It's the combination of all this: systematic training, in-depth study, a teaching approach that keeps deepening, and hands-on teaching experience built up since 2015, that makes Cloud's teaching more than a collection of certificates. It draws on both ancient wisdom and modern practice.

Students and Teaching Experience

Cloud's students come from all walks of life and every age group. She teaches corporate classes and private lessons, working with students ranging from elderly adults to children, and has also taught at community organisations, including elderly centres, schools, and charity yoga programmes.

Through her teaching, Cloud has worked with students managing a range of conditions, including:

  • Musculoskeletal conditions, including arthritis and scoliosis, using yoga as a complementary practice to ease the physical and mental strain of chronic illness

  • Cancer survivors

  • Emotional health conditions, from depression and anxiety to insomnia

  • Chronic systemic conditions such as ankylosing spondylitis, high blood pressure, diabetes, and rheumatoid arthritis

  • Common ailments, including back pain, shoulder injuries, and pain from prolonged poor posture

For each student, Cloud offers a safe, tailored practice alongside relevant yoga philosophy, helping improve their physical and mental wellbeing and overall quality of life.

Yoga Philosophy

Cloud sees yoga as an ancient wisdom for nurturing both body and mind. She believes that consistent practice helps maintain balance, bringing not only physical health but also a calmer, more settled mind. Through life's ups and downs, it allows practitioners to stay present in each moment.

Working with Media and Corporate

Cloud regularly works with different media outlets to share her yoga knowledge and teaching experience, and partners with businesses to offer corporate yoga courses and talks.

From Sense Studio Yoga to CloudC Yoga Education, what hasn't changed is Cloud's commitment to structured yoga teaching and to staying attentive to what her students truly need.
